Baseball Recap: Plain Dealing Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Plain Dealing duked it out with Converse on Thursday. The Lions came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-1 back in February.

This is the second loss in a row for Plain Dealing and nudges their season record down to 6-10-1. As for Converse, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Plain Dealing will square off against Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Converse, they will take on Stanley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
