For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since February 5, 2024.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Branford rose to the challenge on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Raiders by the margin of a single free throw, 32-31.

Branford's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for East Catholic, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 21-3.
