It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Enterprise ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Beaver Beavers 9-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-4 on Tuesday.

Enterprise is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.4 runs over those games. As for Beaver, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-7.

Looking ahead, Enterprise will take on Grantsville at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beaver, they will challenge Water Canyon at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Beavers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
