Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Sequoia Charter walked away with it. They breezed past the South Ridge Mavericks to the tune of 73-40 on Thursday. The Stallions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 22 points or more this season.

Sequoia Charter is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31 points. As for South Ridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.

Coming up, Sequoia Charter will face off against BASIS - Ahwatukee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sequoia Charter knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 contests -- so hopefully BASIS - Ahwatukee likes a good challenge. South Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
