The Loveland Tigers will face off against the Ryle Raiders at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Loveland will be strutting in after a win while Ryle will be coming in after a defeat.
Loveland is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Winton Woods onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory on Tuesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-goal performance the game before.
Their offense was hitting Winton Woods from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal.
Taylor Hermansen led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
Meanwhile, Ryle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sycamore. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Raiders came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 68th in Kentucky, while the Aviators are ranked 206th in Ohio).
Loveland's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4-2. As for Ryle, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-2.
