Basketball Recap: Coon Rapids Takes a Loss

Coon Rapids was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 77-60 to the Anoka Tornadoes. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 20th).

Coon Rapids' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Anoka, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-3.

Coon Rapids has already played their next contest (against Robbinsdale Armstrong), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Anoka has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Elk River.
