Volleyball Recap: Porter Ridge Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Porter Ridge Pirates came up short against the East Mecklenburg Eagles and fell 3-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 24-26, 25-9.

Adalberto Gomez was the offensive standout of the game as he had 11 digs.

Porter Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-3. As for East Mecklenburg, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Porter Ridge will take on Union Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Mecklenburg, they will challenge Providence at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
