Baseball Recap: Fresno Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Fresno was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Firebaugh last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fresno fell just short of the Sanger West Hornets by a score of 5-3 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Fresno's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4. As for Sanger West, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Looking ahead, Fresno is taking a road trip to face off against Madera at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sanger West, they will take on Dinuba at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sanger West is facing Dinuba at the right time seeing as Dinuba is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
