Volleyball Recap: Lincoln College Prep's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Lincoln College Prep came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Northland Christian, falling 3-0. The loss put an end to the Blue Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-19, 25-19.

Lincoln College Prep's offense was headlined by Cameron Ritchie and Jared Suriano, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Samari Taylor and his 11 assists. Kadem Schieber controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lincoln College Prep fell to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Lincoln College Prep will challenge Nixa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northland Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lee's Summit North on the 29th.
