Volleyball Recap: Hopkins' Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

Hopkins was the 2-0 winner over Thornapple Kellogg when they last played one another back in August of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans on Tuesday. The loss put an end to the Vikings' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hopkins fell to 6-1. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Hopkins has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Vicksburg on the 26th. As for Thornapple Kellogg, they will venture away from home to challenge South Christian at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
