Volleyball Recap: Maple Mountain Golden Eagles vs. Windward Wildcats
Maple Mountain was the 2-0 winner over Windward when they last played one another on Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Trey Thornton paced Maple Mountain's offense, picking up 16 kills. Thornton got some help from Taft Hillman and his 28 assists. Finally, Hillman was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
