Basketball Game Preview: Randolph Rockets vs. Deerfield Demons

The Randolph Rockets will venture away from home to take on the Deerfield Demons at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Randolph earned a 50-42 victory over Markesan.

Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Deerfield proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy with points to spare, taking the game 60-44.

Randolph is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.9 points per game. As for Deerfield, their win bumped their record up to 16-3.

Randolph ended up a good deal behind Deerfield in their previous meeting back in January, losing 54-39. Can Randolph avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
