Volleyball Game Preview: Cleveland Christian Crusaders vs. Knoxville Christian Knights

The Cleveland Christian Crusaders are taking a road trip to face off against the Knoxville Christian Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On September 11th, Cleveland Christian made easy work of Apostolic Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Knoxville Christian and Varsity Opponent, and Knoxville Christian kept the tradition alive. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against Varsity Opponent on Monday, sneaking past 2-1.

Knoxville Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-13, 15-10.

Cleveland Christian's record is now 2-0. As for Knoxville Christian, their record now sits at 12-7.

Cleveland Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Knoxville Christian when the teams last played on September 4th, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
