Volleyball Recap: St. John Lutheran Starts Season with Defeat at Home

St. John Lutheran unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Redeemer Christian Lions on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Saints have suffered since September 24, 2024.

St. John Lutheran was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23, 25-14.

The win was the third in a row for Redeemer Christian, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, St. John Lutheran will welcome Ocala Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Redeemer Christian, they will head out to take on Meadowbrook Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
