Volleyball Game Preview: Parkland Trojans vs. Nazareth Area Blue Eagles

Parkland is a perfect 4-0 against Nazareth Area since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trojans will host the Blue Eagles at 6:45 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Parkland not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since June 11, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Pocono Mountain West. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Nazareth Area was able to grind out a solid victory over Freedom on Tuesday, taking the game 3-1.

While Nazareth Area might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Freedom scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 20-25, 25-21, 25-22.

Nazareth Area's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Parkland, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Parkland was able to grind out a solid win over Nazareth Area in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Blue Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
