Carver A&T has no trouble against Patapsco

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Carver A&T Wildcats ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. Everything went their way against Patapsco as Carver A&T made off with a 44-24 win. Carver A&T has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Carver A&T found their leader in underclassman Elisah Guity, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Guity has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Brandon, who scored ten points.

Carver A&T's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Patapsco, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-8.

Carver A&T will take on Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Patapsco, they will head out on the road to square off against New Town at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. New Town presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Patapsco in Maryland (New Town is ranked 53rd, while Patapsco is ranked 214th).
