Softball Recap: Bearden Takes a Loss

Bearden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-3 to Bradley. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Bradley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-4 on April 1st.

Bearden's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bradley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bearden is set to square off against their familiar foe Lafayette County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bradley will take on rival Hermitage at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
