Football Recap: Chippewa Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Chippewa Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 26-8 bruising from the Anchor Bay Tars. The Big Reds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Chippewa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Anchor Bay, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chippewa Valley will host L'Anse Creuse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Big Reds will be up against the Lancers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Anchor Bay, they will be playing at home against Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils' defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so the Tars' offense will have their work cut out for them.
