Softball Recap: Silas Rams vs. Bellarmine Prep Lions

Silas put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 19-4 margin over the Bellarmine Prep Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for Silas.

Natalie Medalia made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Medalia was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a home run, seven RBI, and three runs.

In other batting news, Silas got a massive performance out of Tatum Butterfield, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Laila Kode, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

On Bellarmine Prep's side, Leoni Pendras was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Hulse, who went 1-for-2 with a triple and a run.
