Hope Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Atrisco Heritage Academy since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Huskies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. Hope Christian is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.

Hope Christian had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pojoaque Valley on Tuesday. The Huskies blew past the Elks/Elkettes 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Hope Christian took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-7, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Atrisco Heritage Academy came up short against Valley on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

While Atrisco Heritage Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 25-22.

Hope Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.

Everything went Hope Christian's way against Atrisco Heritage Academy in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Hope Christian made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Huskies repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
