Volleyball Recap: Fairfield Christian Academy Comes Up Short

If Fairfield Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Bishop Rosecrans on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell just short of the Liberty Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Fairfield Christian Academy actually scored more points across those five sets (104-100), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 29-27, 15-25, 25-20, 15-7.

Fairfield Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Liberty Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-13.
