On Friday, Pine Lake Prep really took it to Johnson County for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-38 victory on the road. That looming 75-38 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pine Lake Prep yet this season.
It was another big night for Robert Magner, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Braden Gower was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Pine Lake Prep now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Johnson County, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Pine Lake Prep and North Davidson will face off at 2:30 p.m. on December 30, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Johnson County's road trip will continue as they head out to face Volunteer at 10:30 a.m. on January 6th. Volunteer is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
