Baseball Recap: Cordell Comes Up Short

Cordell couldn't beat Merritt on Tuesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Blue Devils came up short against the Oilers, falling 14-6. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Oilers earlier this season, when they won 17-12.

Cordell's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Merritt, their record is now 4-7.

Looking ahead, Cordell will be playing in front of their home fans against Snyder at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Merritt, they are taking a road trip to face off against Granite at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
