Wright City came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Atoka Wampus Cats get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The Lumberjax might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by seven runs or more this season.

Wright City's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Atoka, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-25.

Wright City has already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Broken Bow on the 18th. Atoka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
