Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clay City). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging an 85-30 victory over the North Putnam Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Eels sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Clay City's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for North Putnam, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Clay City will challenge South Putnam at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Clay City is facing South Putnam at the right time seeing as South Putnam is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for North Putnam, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on West Vigo at 8:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
