Soccer Recap: Bishop Union Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Porterville, Bishop Union was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Shafter Generals out 2-1.

Hector Ramirez was the driving force of Bishop Union's attack as he scored both of Bishop Union's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Bishop Union now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Shafter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Bishop Union didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against North on the 7th. As for Shafter, they will take on McFarland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shafter is facing McFarland at the right time seeing as McFarland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
