Volleyball Recap: Edison Tigers vs. Sierra Chieftains

Edison lost against Sierra last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Edison Tigers fell just short of the Sierra Chieftains by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Edison sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 22-25, 15-11.

Gwyn Gilbert was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six aces and 11 assists. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she now posted ten or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season.

Edison now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Sierra, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.
