Soccer Recap: Moline Takes a Loss

Moline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Quincy Blue Devils. Moline were not able to make up for their defeat to Quincy from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Moline's goal came courtesy of Keeley Mckenzie, who's now up to two this season.

Moline's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Quincy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Moline will head out on the road to face off against Rock Island at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Moline are facing Rock Island at the right time seeing as Rock Island are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Quincy, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Sacred Heart-Griffin on the 3rd.
