Last Friday, Strom Thurmond strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 57-43. Given Strom Thurmond's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Panthers are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Strom Thurmond was able to grind out a solid victory over the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January, winning 43-35.
