Clarkston had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lapeer Lightning on Saturday. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lightning, too.

Clarkston found their leader in freshman Stella Smith, who had four digs and three aces.

Lapeer has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's still a better percentage than their 1-5-1 record this season.

Clarkston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Franklin on the 23rd. As for Lapeer, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Fenton on the 23rd.
