Chesapeake had won four straight games and Lila Ferguson did her part to make it five on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Oak Hill Oaks with a sharp 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Ferguson, who had seven digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 25-21.

Chesapeake's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Oak Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will head out to face off against Portsmouth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oak Hill, they will venture away from home to take on Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
