Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carl Hayden Community). They blew past the Sierra Linda Bulldogs 22-1 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Carl Hayden Community's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Sierra Linda, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Carl Hayden Community will take on McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. McClintock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11 runs per game this season. As for Sierra Linda, they will challenge South Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
