Soccer Recap: Fountain Hills Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Horizon Honors, Fountain Hills was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs as the Fountain Hills Falcons made off with a 6-2 victory. It was an even better day for Tyler Griggs as he scored three goals for his team.

Fountain Hills' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Fountain Hills duke it out with the NFL Yet Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rancho Solano Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Cicero Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
