Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Central Christian Academy Lions. Surprisingly, this marked the Warriors' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While Marion was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-23.

Marion's loss dropped their record down to 11-20. As for Central Christian Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 25-11.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Marion and Chase County will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Central Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
