Colbie Shepard Game Report: @ Hawthorne

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Colbie Shepard: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 1.5 sacks and made five total tackles, helping propel Granite Hills past Hawthorne by a score of 53-0. We certainly expect to see more performances from Shepard considering he's already seeing the field as a sophomore.

Granite Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Serrano at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Diamondbacks will enter the matchup having just beaten Los Osos, so the Cougars will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
