Cornerstone Christian came out on top against San Jacinto Valley Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Crusaders walked away with a 9-6 win over the Wolves. For the Crusaders, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

The team relied heavily on Caleb Foster, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those hits were his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethen Harriman, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Cornerstone Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive games.

Cornerstone Christian's record now sits at 2-3. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Cornerstone Christian will head out to challenge The Grove School at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Crusaders their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for San Jacinto Valley Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-2 win against Perris on the 5th.
