Volleyball Recap: Harrison Central Comes Up Short

Harrison Central lost against Brooke back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies came up short against the Bruins, falling 3-0. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 25-19.

Leah Grady paced Harrison Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Grady got some help from Hannah Grady and her ten assists. Hannah was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Harrison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Brooke, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-9.

Coming up, Harrison Central will face off against Edison at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brooke, they will square off against St. Clairsville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
