Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Racine Horlick Rebels
The Indian Trail Hawks will head out on the road to square off against the Racine Horlick Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Tuesday, Indian Trail strolled past the Knights with points to spare, taking the game 64-48.
Mj Stackhouse was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 16 rebounds. Stackhouse is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aamir Neal, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Racine Horlick, who are still winless after their 17th game. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 78-57 walloping at the hands of Kenosha Bradford on Monday.
Indian Trail's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Racine Horlick, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.
Everything went Indian Trail's way against the Rebels in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the Hawks made off with a 66-42 victory. With Indian Trail ahead 35-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
