LEE came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the United South Panthers. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory on Friday.

Madelyn Weis paced LEE's offense, picking up eight kills. Weis got some help from Chloe Bengoechea and her 19 assists. Finally, Alaina Ruiz kept LEE's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

LEE's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for United South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.

LEE has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Harlan on the 22nd. Hopefully United South paid attention to the Volunteers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Volunteers.
