Baseball Recap: Garber Comes Up Short

Garber fell victim to Pioneer-Pleasant Vale and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 15-0. If the Wolverines were looking for revenge after losing 10-2 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Garber's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Garber will venture away from home to face off against Kremlin-Hillsdale at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Pioneer-Pleasant Vale, they will head out to square off against Covington-Douglas at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
