Baseball Game Preview: San Angelo HomeSchool Saints vs. Grape Creek Eagles

The San Angelo HomeSchool Saints will head out to face off against the Grape Creek Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.

San Angelo HomeSchool is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Grape Creek on Friday as San Angelo HomeSchool made off with a 19-3 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

For Grape Creek's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landon Stovall, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

The win made it two in a row for San Angelo HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Grape Creek, they dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
