Baseball Recap: Alpena Has No Trouble Against Cadillac

While Alpena put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Cadillac. The Wildcats blew past the Vikings 11-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

The win got Alpena back to even at 9-9. As for Cadillac, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alpena will venture away from home to square off against Sault Area at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cadillac, they will head out to challenge Beaverton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 3.8, the Beavers 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
