Basketball Recap: Walther Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Walther Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Monday. They had to suffer through a 88-27 loss at the hands of the Warren Township Blue Devils. The match marked the Broncos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Walther Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Warren Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

After both having extra time off, Walther Christian Academy and Arthur-Okaw Christian will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Arthur-Okaw Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.5 points per game this season. As for Warren Township, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against DePaul College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Warren Township knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully DePaul College Prep likes a good challenge.
