Providence Catholic strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rosary Royals. That's more bragging rights for the Celtics, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Providence Catholic was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-11.

Abbey Knight paced Providence Catholic's offense, picking up ten kills. Knight got some help from Delaney Purtill and her 11 assists. Purtill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Providence Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Rosary, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Providence Catholic has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Andrew on the 10th. After both having extra time off, Rosary and DePaul College Prep will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
