Volleyball Recap: Halifax Wildcats vs. Upper Dauphin Area Trojans
After a string of four wins, Halifax's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Halifax's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shae Ramberger, who had five kills, three aces, and two blocks. Ramberger is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least five every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Matter, who had seven kills, four digs, and two aces.
Halifax's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-2. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
After both having extra time off, Halifax and Millersburg will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Upper Dauphin Area, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Columbia at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Upper Dauphin Area is facing Columbia at the right time seeing as Columbia is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
