Soccer Recap: Mountain Vista Picks Up Seventh Straight Win on the Road

Mountain Vista proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let the Heritage Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Give Mountain Vista's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Avery Beer, who's now up to four this season.

Mountain Vista pushed their record up to 11-1-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those seven matches. As for Heritage, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-3-2.
