Soccer Recap: Austin-East Comes Up Short

Austin-East lost against Webb back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Austin-East Roadrunners took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Webb Spartans. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin-East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Webb, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Austin-East will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Morristown-Hamblen East at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for Webb, they will venture away from home to take on Christian Academy of Knoxville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
