Sigourney has gone a perfect 10-0 against Iowa Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Savages will head out on the road to face off against the Tigers. Sigourney is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Friday, Sigourney had just enough and edged out Wilton 3-2.

Meanwhile, Iowa Valley beat Belle Plaine 17-14 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Sigourney's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Iowa Valley, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Everything went Sigourney's way against Iowa Valley in their previous meeting on June 2nd, as Sigourney made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Savages since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
