Basketball Recap: Douglas County Takes a Loss

Douglas County lost against Chapel Hill back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Douglas County Tigers fell 74-61 to the Chapel Hill Panthers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Chapel Hill, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Douglas County and South Paulding will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Chapel Hill, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Chapel Hill Panthers challenge the Jonesboro Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
