Volleyball Recap: Rossville Extends Winning Streak to Four

It's playoff time, and Rossville had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northfield Norsemen on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Hornets sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Blaire Wellman paced Rossville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wellman got some help from Tori Fadness and her 30 assists. Finally, Ava Burkle kept Rossville's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Rossville's victory bumped their record up to 30-3. As for Northfield, they moved to 23-10 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Rossville and Triton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
